An Innocent Man
My name is Montrel Wilson, as of this writing in 2020, I am 49 years of age and have been wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for the past 22 years. I was wrongfully convicted of shooting a man named Derrick Turner to death. I am in fact innocent, there are in fact two victims of this crime. One living, one dead, I am the living victim. The crimes against me are ongoing. I am innocent yet I have been destroyed.
It is very important for you to digest one fact right now and do not forget it for a second of this story. I am NOT A TALL MAN. I stand only 5 foot 4 inches. (To aid you in the understanding of this case I have attached an area map of the crime scene.)
The State of Ohio is my enemy. My enemy has unlimited resources to draw upon to destroy me. My enemy does not care that it destroyed the wrong man. My enemy only wants to sustain this conviction and justice be damned.
Most people know by now that innocent people are convicted in this country with frightening regularity. Wrongful convictions are a side effect when you have an adversary system that stresses the pursuit of victory over that of truth.
Hey! Do you want to join this campaign and be a part of this Free Montrel Campaign Movement? Let me know and become a freedom fighter, supporter, advocate and one of those against injustice, corrupted vicious, unfair Judicial System.
You see, when the police went around saying we got the murder weapon out of Wilson’s house, that took the incentive away from people in the neighborhood to step forward with the relevant information to help me. Vicious lies were being told by detectives to keep the other 6 credible witnesses silent and unknown if possible. These witnesses (6) were never suspects and had no reason to lie about who and what they saw and heard, in the order they saw and heard it. There were 9 original witnesses outside near the scene when the shooting happened, 3 turned suspect, then state witnesses to avoid being charged.
On April 16th, 1998, Derrick Turner was walking north on Glenwood, between 11:00pm and 11:30pm, according to witnesses he then turned right onto Highland Street and at the end of the 700 Block he turned into the alley the 3300 alley. Shortly after entering the alley a tall suspect started shooting at him and chased him out of the alley and back onto Highland Street. Derrick Turner fell to the ground and the tall suspect was seen standing over him and shooting him.
The corrupted judicial system has become the new normal. Silent, malicious prosecutors’ misconduct has become the new standard everywhere in a criminal prosecution.
